Health and Safety isn't exactly the sexiest topic when it comes to learning and most organisations struggle to get their employees to allocate time to this kind of training. We were tasked by a multinational telecoms business to create a series of Health & Safety bite-size videos that were easy to consume, visually interesting and would lead to high completion rates.

What we've done

The remit was to create bite-size videos on the following topics: Personal Safety, Tsunami, Hurricane, Earthquakes, Kidnapping, Flooding, Landslides, Fires, Pandemic and Volcanic Eruptions. The project work involved:

1. Content Research

2. Content Design & Layout

3. Video Creation & Production (English, French and Spanish)

Here is a sample of one of the videos on Personal Safety and Security.

There are certain training topics that employees roll their eyes at when they come up - I.T. Security, Compliance, GDPR etc. These are all important subjects for the business but not necessarily for your learners but there are ways to 'sexy them up'. Rather than dry e-learning or automated powerpoint slides you can use animation, music and bite-size formats to make the experience more engaging.

Also, don't be afraid to use a humorous tone to get your point across - serious topics don't have to be delivered seriously. We have lots of different techniques we use to simplify, beautify and gamify your training. If you want to chat through your options you can book a a call with us right here:

"We’ve been working with Dee for years - she has become like an extended part of our team.  Our employees love and look forward to training and coaching with her. She has an ability to create learning experiences (online and classroom) that bring the absolute best out of people and leave them feeling energised, optimistic and confident in their new skills.  Importantly she understands our business inside-out which means we can always rely on her to respond quickly to anything that we need. One of the things I admire most about Dee is how she is able to bring the learning concepts we have in our head to life. Easy to work with, understanding of our business challenges and always brimming with positivity - we couldn’t think of anyone we would prefer to work with in this space."
